Manchmal braucht man ein bisschen, um auf den Geschmack zu kommen. Bei mir war es bei The Manhattans so. Mein Leben wäre ohne The Manhattans sicherlich anders verlaufen. Meine Meinung ist: The Manhattans ist sicherlich nicht so ein Kult wie Elvis (Lang lebe der König!), aber auf jeden Fall ein Mini-Kult. Wie bei jeder anderen Band auch, hat The Manhattans nicht nur Fans, aber echte Fans wissen, was sie an The Manhattans haben. The Manhattans steht für die damalige Zeit. The Manhattans hatten unter ihren Veröffentlichungen einige erfolgreiche Chartplatzierungen. Note eins verdient abgeholt würde ich mal sagen. Echte Fans wissen natürlich: The Manhattans rockt das Haus wie kaum ein anderer. Großer Sport!!! Eine DVD von The Manhattans ist jedenfalls Pflicht! Der Urlaub wird gestrichen und der DVD-Player kann dann heisslaufen. Wenn The Manhattans in 20 Jahren zu den Evergreens zählt, hätte sich einmal mehr gezeigt, dass gute Mucke die Zeit überdauert.
