Es war bei mir nicht Liebe auf den ersten Blick bzw. beim ersten Hören. B. B. King zählte erst später zu meinen Favoriten. B. B. King wurden in kurzer Zeit ein Teil von mir. Und deswegen sage ich: B. B. King ist sicherlich nicht so ein Kult wie Elvis (Lang lebe der König!), aber auf jeden Fall ein Mini-Kult. Über Geschmack kann man nicht streiten. Entweder man mag B. B. King oder man mag B. B. King eben nicht. Das muss im Endeffekt jeder für sich selber entscheiden. B. B. King hat neben anderen namenhaften Bands den Sound Ihrer Zeit mitgeprägt. B. B. King hatten unter ihren Veröffentlichungen einige erfolgreiche Chartplatzierungen. Volle Puntzahl! Denn B. B. King hat nicht nur einmal die Hütte so richtig zum Kochen gebracht. Gekonnt ist eben gekonnt. Davon kann sich so mancher Künstler noch eine DICKE (!) Scheibe abschneiden. Großer Sport!!! Eine DVD von B. B. King ist jedenfalls Pflicht! Meine Freundin freut sich bestimmt, wenn ich 10 Stunden am Stück vor der Glotze hänge und mir die DVD reinziehe. Ich hoffe, dass ich auch noch in 30 Jahren kein alter Sack bin...zumindest was meinen Musikgeschmack angeht. Vielleicht gefällt B. B. King dann ja auch meine Kids. Mal sehen...
