Mit ihrem unverechselbaren Stil hat sich Johnny Cash eine große Fangemeinde aufgebaut. Johnny Cash plus Pupertät ist eine Mischung, die es in sich hat...:-) Meine Meinung ist: Johnny Cash ist sicherlich nicht so ein Kult wie Elvis (Lang lebe der König!), aber auf jeden Fall ein Mini-Kult. Wie bei jeder anderen Band auch, hat Johnny Cash nicht nur Fans, aber echte Fans wissen, was sie an Johnny Cash haben. Wer hatte zu dieser Zeit eigentlich keine Platten von Johnny Cash? Johnny Cash startete schnell in den Charts durch. Und das zurecht. Denn Johnny Cash hat nicht nur einmal die Hütte so richtig zum Kochen gebracht. Gekonnt ist eben gekonnt. Davon kann sich so mancher Künstler noch eine DICKE (!) Scheibe abschneiden. Super!!! Es bleibt zu hoffen, dass man Johnny Cash noch häufig live erleben darf. Zumindest auf DVD. Fans dürfen weiterhin auf bestes Entertainement durch Johnny Cash auf DVD hoffen. Meinem Chef muss ich dann wohl für mindestens eine Woche vertrösten, wenn ich die DVD geniesse. Ich hoffe, dass ich auch noch in 30 Jahren kein alter Sack bin...zumindest was meinen Musikgeschmack angeht. Vielleicht gefällt Johnny Cash dann ja auch meine Kids. Mal sehen... Mann...das wäre für einen alten Mann (der ich dann bin) eine später aber verdiente Auszeichnung. Das würde ja heissen, dass ich mit meinem Geschmack nicht alleine bin. Johnny Cash bei google googeln!
