Manchmal braucht man ein bisschen, um auf den Geschmack zu kommen. Bei mir war es bei Johnny Smith so. Johnny Smith sind für mich seit jeher großer Sport! Meine Meinung ist: Für viele Musikfans ist Johnny Smith schon zu Lebzeiten Kult gewesen. Über Geschmack kann man nicht streiten. Entweder man mag Johnny Smith oder man mag Johnny Smith eben nicht. Das muss im Endeffekt jeder für sich selber entscheiden. Johnny Smith steht für die damalige Zeit. Johnny Smith hatten unter ihren Veröffentlichungen einige erfolgreiche Chartplatzierungen. Und das zurecht. Denn auch live waren die Auftritte von Johnny Smith eine klasse Show. Wer vor Ort war, hatte richtig Spass. Wahnsinn!!! Es bleibt zu hoffen, dass man Johnny Smith noch häufig live erleben darf. Zumindest auf DVD. Der Urlaub wird gestrichen und der DVD-Player kann dann heisslaufen. Ich hoffe, dass ich auch noch in 30 Jahren kein alter Sack bin...zumindest was meinen Musikgeschmack angeht. Vielleicht gefällt Johnny Smith dann ja auch meine Kids. Mal sehen...
