Manchmal braucht man ein bisschen, um auf den Geschmack zu kommen. Bei mir war es bei Johnny Adams so. Johnny Adams plus Pupertät ist eine Mischung, die es in sich hat...:-) Und deswegen sage ich: Johnny Adams ist sicherlich nicht so ein Kult wie Elvis (Lang lebe der König!), aber auf jeden Fall ein Mini-Kult. Johnny Adams hatte viele flammende Verehrer und ebenso viele, die bei der Musik Plaque vom allerfeinsten bekommen. Aber worüber kann man schöner und hitziger diskutieren als über Musik? Johnny Adams steht für die damalige Zeit. Johnny Adams startete schnell in den Charts durch. Gerechter Sieg! Denn auch bei den Liveauftritten von Johnny Adams war die Stimmung stets hervorragend. Gute Qualität der Musik zeigt sich eben auch bei Live-Konzerten. Super!!! Es bleibt zu hoffen, dass man Johnny Adams noch häufig live erleben darf. Zumindest auf DVD. Den Fernseher werde ich mir dann für die nächsten zwei Wochen reservieren und dann läuft die DVD rauf und runter. Ich hoffe, dass ich auch noch in 30 Jahren kein alter Sack bin...zumindest was meinen Musikgeschmack angeht. Vielleicht gefällt Johnny Adams dann ja auch meine Kids. Mal sehen...
