Es war bei mir nicht Liebe auf den ersten Blick bzw. beim ersten Hören. Immolation zählte erst später zu meinen Favoriten. Immolation plus Pupertät ist eine Mischung, die es in sich hat...:-) Ich sage aus voller Überzeugung heraus: Durch einen unverwechselbaren Stil hat sich Immolation eine große Fangemeinde aufgebaut. Über Geschmack kann man nicht streiten. Entweder man mag Immolation oder man mag Immolation eben nicht. Das muss im Endeffekt jeder für sich selber entscheiden. Immolation steht für die damalige Zeit. Immolation startete schnell in den Charts durch. Volle Puntzahl! Denn auch live waren die Auftritte von Immolation eine klasse Show. Wer vor Ort war, hatte richtig Spass. Großartig!!! Es bleibt zu hoffen, dass man Immolation noch häufig live erleben darf. Zumindest auf DVD. Fans dürfen weiterhin auf bestes Entertainement durch Immolation auf DVD hoffen. Der Urlaub wird gestrichen und der DVD-Player kann dann heisslaufen. Wer weiss...vielleicht wird Immolation ja eines Tages in der Hall-Of-Fame der Musik wieder auftauchen. Es wäre auf jeden Fall schön.
